Please notice the direction of the light in this diorama, it is supposed to come from the background, as I will turn the diorama clockwise, you will see the colours change, including on the figure itself

Galilée 2 is basically because I was not satisfied with Galilée I which you can find here.

Indeed there was a huge place with no information at the front left, and I was not too happy about the way the wood was painted. So i took it back again, changed the figure, added a cigarette paper coat as well as repainted the acoustic devices on the right side. it is now up to my "quality standart" but sadly the original idea wich was about a guy being trapped is now gone and the diorama itself looks like a variant of good old Archangel.

Anyway, I thought I would share one or 2 pictures of the original boat(s) as there are few availabale anywhere:

Then I used the plans of the Catinat class protected cruiser (croiseur protégé) Here is Catinat
Here is Protet -the first picture shows the deck of an unindentified cruiser looking quite close to the one of the Protet -at least the bunker part.
