All this is very well, but of course I got an extra thickness with the metal bit. So I actually pasted another thin plasticard sheet over the first one so that everything would be level with the dorro. the fact I paste it on already bent plastic should also avoid any inconvenient later when fitting that armour plate later

Well it's time to place the door on the rear armour plate behind the turret. first, let's dig a hole for the actual door..

Dust and cobwebs everywhere, and then looking back on my plans, I found quite a few details I never see before. oh well, time to work on that old thing again

Halfway through the etching process thanks to my homemade machine! But then I had to do that in 2 steps as my bloody garden chairs crushed the machine while falling :)
