Memel (the End of Capitalism feat. Vladimir Putin)

A new diorama again! I think it belongs to the "not so bad" category. I had to do it basically 2 times as I missed tje resin the first around which led me to buy another time that same model (Bronco's Saloon Coach Opel).

more forms and glass bricks

So here is one of the first electrical devices in transparent resin straight from the form.. followed by several others including the firsts of my glass bricks.

Forms..

st for that diorama, the first being some glass apparatus for an electrical device (don't know the name of the thing, even in French), the second one is some glass brick for some factory wall.
To do the electrical thing I used some bottle from an old Verlinden (?) resin sprue as a base ...

Homemade Photoetch (again)

And now for something completely different. Homemade photoetch!! Not very fine I must say but enough for most of my 1/35 projects. it's been 5 years i am doing some now and I must say i have been streamlining it quite efficiently. The process is too long to be explained like that, but the first picture shows an insulated metal plaque.

Most of the mail I get from this site is about techniques and materials, so I thought it could be nice if I would both show and explain the stuff I use

Pebeo's outliner (Cernes relief)

I was sent that Pebeo Cernes Relief product some time agio and liked it straight away. Its fine tip allows me to make joints between the stuff i embbed in water and the stuff itself like my graves here.

It dries just like regular glossy Acrylic gel that you can find in art shops or Valejo's Water Effect (which is exactly the same stuff)

Flex Pad on horse sculpting

The reason I use those flex-pad instead of other solutions is seen here: I have been owning the same since 4 years and even though mine are in bad shape they still work alright. I love the "blade tip" which allows to sand in the crevices

Metalic pigments from Uschi van der Rosten
