Please visit my new website
I have a new website at www.distant-shores.com its aim is to gather all the nature centered websites I have been doing those past few months,
This is a bit lame, but I need to change the server of this site which is so slooow, and also to reactivate cdiorama.com
Well, here I am to show a diorama I will only do the latest part. Indeed my brother Nicolas Cabaret lent me the model, the idea and a few extra things for me to do the diorama, which is a fine pretext to start again publishing stuff on this very website which is certaibnly far from being abandoned.
So it happens that Nicolas Cabaret is too busy and will probably stay for a few months, so he left me the keys to carry on a project half begun by him.
So this is that my website got a few loading probelms and I had to redo the 2 latest blog entries which were about my latest diorama called "I can Fly now", here is what i wrote last summer :
I have a new diorama which should be ready soon but that won't make it in a blog because of no time really.
I also have been upgrading my website a bit, allowing to post even bigger pictuires for big screens and tiny ones for small screens. it should work!
So well why didn't I post any other pictures before the completed ones?
Well, first if I had show the suitcase, I think it would have given up the complete diorama, but the true reason is this:
Products heads up
I was sent that Pebeo Cernes Relief product some time agio and liked it straight away. Its fine tip allows me to make joints between the stuff i embbed in water and the stuff itself like my graves here.
It dries just like regular glossy Acrylic gel that you can find in art shops or Valejo's Water Effect (which is exactly the same stuff)
The reason I use those flex-pad instead of other solutions is seen here: I have been owning the same since 4 years and even though mine are in bad shape they still work alright. I love the "blade tip" which allows to sand in the crevices
That's a hobby sort of posting. I recently bought Uschi van der Rosten's metalic pigments and well, I used to know Alex before he was Uschi you see and this kind of posts can't do him wrong.
