May 18 2009 | Fixing shattering glass

So well, I set up to glue those with white glue, but that was kind of hard, so i did halmf of them this way, and the other hald with CA glue. It didn't fog.. I will add a few more shattered bits later, honestly I can't see the sifference between using real glass and the thin transparent plastic sheet i used before, oh well..

And in the meantime, the fig gets itself painted too!

So have a look, one of the sides and the shadows of the shirt are grey-blue, the face and trousers darker..

here is wjhat he looks like from front. I tried to make the changes from blue to yellow the most discreet possible..

There are a few flaws with that fig, first the eyes are not totally convincing (this comes from the sculpt actually, where one of the eyes is samller than the other one), and the paper made coat got some troubles with the superglue.

oh well, this will be things to do for Galilée III !

My final trick to fix those windows was to use a mix between wood dust, white glue and water. the mix fixes perfectly near the windows and does make some sort of mastic!

this closes the Galilée II WIP, now I am on to work on the Masséna again!
